The Level 1 Medal of Excellence Limousin Show was held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Oklahoma City. Tyler Cates and Associate Judge Kyle Shoufler, IN. evaluated the 101 females and 24 bulls.
The Grand Champion Limousin Female TSSL NFX Beyonce 4601M ET, exhibited by Baylee Smith, Checotah, Okla. She is a February 22, 2024, 25% Lim-Flex female sired by SCC SCH 24 Karat 838, out of JSZC TSSC Larissa 49G ET. TSSL NFX Beyonce 4601M ET was also named the Supreme Limousin female.
Jacee Parrish, Liberty, Texas, exhibited the Reserve Champion Limousin Female. HANE TSSL Dirty Dancing 5118 is a February 13, 2025, 25% Lim-Flex female sired by SCC SCH 24 Karat 838, out of JSZC TSSC Larissa 33H ET.
The Grand Champion Cow/Calf pair was exhibited by Skyelann White, Larue, Texas. DLCN LEAH 222L ET. She is a February 22, 2023, 43% Lim-Flex, out of Colburn Primo 5153.
In the bull show, Ratliff No Mercy 406N ET was named Grand Champion Limousin Bull. He is a January 21, 2025, 50% Lim-Flex Bull sired by LLW Cardinal Crossover 236J, out of Riverstone Charmed. This bull was exhibited by Ratliff Cattle, Westphalia, Kan.
The Reserve Champion Limousin Bull was Old 24 Manhattan, exhibited by Cogan Schilling, Goodland, Kan. He is a 54% Lim-Flex bull born on April 3, 2024, and sired by MAYC Gold Buckle 624G.
At the conclusion of the show, the premier breeder award went to Ratliff Cattle, Westphalia, Kan. The Premier Exhibitor Award was presented to Carter Kornegay of Tulsa, OK.
During the week of Cattlemen’s Congress, exhibitors nominate candidates and vote for the Herdsman of the Year Award. The 2026 Limousin herdsman winner was Jason Gaston, Eastland, Texas.
