Honoring a Legend: Bob Foote Inducted into the Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame 
With Great Pride and Gratitude – Congratulations, Bob Foote!
We are honored to share that Bob Foote has been named one of the 2026 inductees into the Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame!
Bob was more than just a remarkable cattleman—he was a guiding light to many in the cattle industry and a steady source of inspiration for those of us at National Beef Wire. This recognition reflects his lifelong dedication to the cattle business, his pioneering spirit, and the deep-rooted values that continue to shape Foote Cattle Company today.
From his early days with Gail in 1975 to founding Foote Cattle Company in 1985, Bob built a legacy not only in cattle feeding, but in leadership, faith, and family. He approached business with courage, humility, and unwavering integrity—qualities that earned him respect in sale barns, feedyards, and boardrooms alike. He lived by his own standard, driven by a God-given passion for the cattle trade and a motto that still echoes through our industry: “GET IT!”
Bob will be formally inducted during the 17th Annual Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame Banquet this coming February in Nashville, TN. While we wish he were here to witness this honor himself, we take comfort knowing his legacy lives on through Gail, his sons Scott, Brad, and Greg, and the entire Foote Cattle team.
