WEEKLY HARVEST REPORT – August 4, 2023
The HRW harvest is gaining momentum in the north and northwest; protein decreased to 11.6% (12% mb). SRW composite testing continues with final flour, dough and bake results to come; the final grade average for the 2023 crop is U.S. No. 1 SRW. The SW harvest continues apace under hot, dry conditions. HRS harvest is underway with sample data expected in the coming weeks. The Northern Durum harvest started this week in Montana.
