One of early breeds showing and having a National Sale at the 2023 Cattlemen’s Congress is the Gelbvieh breed- and their 2023 National Gelbvieh and Balancer sale is set for Monday, January second at 6 PM at the Super Barn Sale Arena on the OKC Fairgrounds.
The sale will feature 26 lots- including 7 Bull Lots, 10 Open Heifer Lots, 2 Bred Heifer Lots, 3 Embryo Lots and 5 Flush Lots.

The Gelbvieh show starts on Sunday with the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Junior Female Show at 10 AM- their Futurity Show follows that afternoon at 3 PM and their Cattlemen’s Ball starts New Year’s Night at 5 PM at The Heritage Place.
The Pen Show for the breed is 10 AM on January second, while the National Bull Show is Tuesday morning at 8 AM- followed by the Female show at 1 PM.
