Choice Boxed Beef Starts December up $2.07
Boxed beef prices turned higher on Monday, December 1st, snapping a four-session losing streak. The Choice cutout rose $2.07 to $368.89/cwt, while Select jumped $6.83 to $357.88/cwt, tightening the spread to $11.01. Load count improved to 93, up from 82 on Friday. Primal values were mixed. Boxed beef values on Friday showed declines compared to Wednesday, as no report was issued Thursday due to Thanksgiving.
