OKFB Ag Fund issues additional endorsements, financial support for candidates in upcoming elections

The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Ag Fund endorsed an additional 12 candidates and added additional financial support for four candidates ahead of the Aug. 25 runoff primary election.

Headlining the field of new endorsees are two candidates running for statewide positions, including Jon Echols for Attorney General and Cindy Byrd for State Treasurer.

Additional new endorsements by the OKFB Ag Fund are listed below.

Oklahoma Senate

Bryan Logan – Senate District 8

Jean Hausheer* – Senate District 32

Oklahoma House of Representatives

George Phipps* – House District 1

Bob Ed Culver – House District 4

David Smith* – House District 18

Michael Brittingham* – House District 19

Carl Newton – House District 58

Teresa Sterling* – House District 91

The Ag Fund awarded additional financial support to four previously endorsed candidates for their respective runoff races, including John Pfeiffer, Labor Commissioner; Jessica Winegeart, Senate District 26; Crystal Campbell, House District 9; and Madison Bolay, House District 38.

The OKFB Ag Fund board will meet after the Aug. 25 runoff primary to discuss additional candidate support before the Nov. 3 general election.
