Mariah Reimer Transitions to Executive Director for the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation

The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation announced today the promotion of Mariah Reimer to the role of Executive Director. Reimer has served in a contract administrator position with the Cattlemen’s Foundation since February. During her time with the Foundation, Riemer has been responsible for several key events including the Clay Shoot, Steer Carcass Challenge and receiving the Foundation’s first Grant. She was also key to the first annual Oklahoma’s Best Beef Steak Cookoff held at the Oklahoma City Stockyards in October.

Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association Executive Vice President Michael Kelsey shared, “Mariah has done such a wonderful job in a contract Administrator role with the Foundation, it was just a natural and great step to take to make her the first Executive Director of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation. She is talented, passionate for the beef cattle industry and brings a wealth of foundation experience to this position. Great things are in store at the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation under her leadership.”

Reimer will be leading the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation to continually expand and increase scholarship opportunities for rural and agricultural Oklahomans, fundraise to protecting the heritage of the West through disaster relief, memorials, and endowments and provide high quality educational opportunities for Oklahoma cattle producers.

Reimer is originally from Wellston, OK where her agricultural roots led her to Oklahoma State University. During her time at OSU, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and went on to pursue a master’s degree in administration.

“The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation represents endless possibilities for not only our industry, but also agriculture as a whole,” said Reimer. “I am proud to be the first Executive Director and look forward to showcasing the growth and impact the Foundation will have over many years by preserving past traditions and educating and leading future generations.”

Reimer and her husband currently reside in Vinita, OK where they raise their two daughters.

The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation was created to provide a charitable trust for the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association and Oklahoma Junior Cattlemen’s Association. When you support the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Foundation, you support beef cattle educational programs, research projects in cooperation with Oklahoma State University, educational scholarships for Oklahoma’s 4-H and FFA youth and the preservation of the Oklahoma beef cattle industry and its traditions.
