House Agriculture Committee Chairman David Scott issued the following statement on the EPA’s announcement of Renewable Volume Obligations (RVOs) under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS):
“These proposed actions, including multi-year mandates and the introduction of regulatory changes by the EPA, will support the growth of biofuel industry into the future, and I look forward to EPA’s ongoing dialogue with the industry on the capacity to meet the projected demand,” said Chairman David Scott.
“I want to thank the Biden Administration and EPA Administrator Regan for continuing their work to get the RFS back on track, and for their faith in our biofuels industry that it can continue to play a role in reducing our carbon emissions and lowering fuel prices.” Chairman David Scott continued.
