Total Acre Members to Reap Insights from Upcoming Meetings

The world-record-holding crop production partners at Total Acre will present the latest information on advances in farm equipment and crop production insights during two upcoming sessions designed to help farmers secure a higher return on investment for their 2023 crops.

“As farmers are gearing up their equipment, taking stock of seed and inputs and preparing their fields for the 2023 planting season, this is the time to focus on boosting the return on their investment,” said David Hula, world record corn grower and Total Acre partner.

These opportunities include an info session webinar on the Total Acre program and several booth sessions and presentations at the Commodity Classic tradeshow. Both events come on the heels of the Total Acre Grower Clinic last month in Phoenix, attended by more than 700 growers and sponsors.

“Based on feedback from the event, growers appreciated the useful information from the presenters, but they also appreciated the hard questions and the challenges the presenters received as well,” said Hula. “They loved the data analysis and the objective way it was presented, but the hit of the entire meeting was the grower panels – farmers learning from each other on topics from no-till farming to intercropping.”

Recordings are available from all sessions at the Phoenix event, so there is still time for growers to join and catch up on Total Acre insights before the 2023 planting season begins.

“We are focusing on grower panels like never before,” Hula said. “We want farmers to hear directly from our partner farmers about how they can succeed using the Total Acre approach.”

Building on the momentum from the Phoenix event, Total Acre’s February info session webinar and Commodity Classic events will also offer growers opportunities to hear about innovations that will help them get the most from every acre.

The info session webinar, scheduled for Feb. 23, will provide details of the program and give prospects a chance to interact with Hula. To attend the February info session webinar, farmers should join the Total Acre interest list at https://totalacre.com/interest-list.

There will be plenty of opportunities for farmer-to-farmer engagement during the 2023 Commodity Classic in Orlando. Both world record holders, Hula and Dowdy, will be on hand to visit with farmers and to hear about the specific challenges and opportunities expected for the 2023 crop. Total Acre will be located in Booth 1443.

An exclusive Total Acre event at this year’s Commodity Classic is an Early Riser breakfast, 7-8 a.m., Saturday, March 11. Dowdy and Hula will attend and discuss various topics, including how to utilize on-farm trials to unlock information and improve ROI.

“In today’s world of high input costs, finding out what works in your area and conditions is crucial to reducing your expenses and increasing your returns,” Hula said. “Total Acre growers harvest those insights each and every year by sharing best practices and results of on-farm trials. Learning by doing and benefitting from the experiences of the broader Total Acre community paves the way to success.”
