Hay Supply getting Tighter in latest Market Report

Compared to the Last Report: Hay is getting tighter. The supply of hay continues to get lower. Over the past two weeks, the hay trade has remained steady. Oklahoma continues to see last year’s crop being sold as they try and finish out this winter. Oklahoma did receive some moisture, but not enough to change the drought monitor. As we look at the Oklahoma Mesonet Drought Monitor, we are at 8.86 percent in exceptional drought, 36.64 percent in an extreme drought, 50.58 percent in severe drought, 59.07 percent in moderate, 65.61 percent in abnormally dry conditions, 34.39 percent that has no drought conditions.
