Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04), Chairman of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee announced he will host a live roundtable discussion on Facebook with Midwest City Manager Tim Lyon and Tinker Air Force Base Air Base Wing Commander Colonel G. Hall Sebren, JR. The Facebook Live event will be held this Thursday, March 23, at 11:30 a.m. CT.
“Located near the heart of a larger urban area, Midwest City and Tinker Air Force Base have important perspectives not only on the benefits of economic growth and development in the area, but also on the increasing transportation and infrastructure needs to support and foster that growth now and into the future,” said Cole. “Because of this, it is critical local and state partners and the federal government work together to meet infrastructure challenges that come with that growth and ensure the base, the largest employer in the state, can continue its mission unimpeded by challenges outside its gates. I look forward to discussing current and future projects that surround the base and the infrastructure needs of Midwest City with these community leaders.”
