The hay trade is slow but still in good demand in western Oklahoma. Hay producers try to find the best
starting point for customers as we move back into the new crop hay season. The eastern part of Oklahoma continues to receive rainfall compared to the Western part of Oklahoma sees none to very little.

As we look at the Oklahoma Mesonet Drought Monitor we are at 12.83 percent in exceptional drought, 37.30 percent in an extreme drought, 48.59 percent in severe drought, 53.88 percent in moderate, 60.31 percent in abnormally dry conditions, 39.69 percent that has no drought conditions.
