Plains Grains Sees Three Percent of Oklahoma Wheat Now Harvested

Early 2023 harvest in Jackson County southwest of Altus

Only two states in the hard red winter wheat belt have significant wheat(enough to have a percentage assigned to the harvest) as we hit this first weekend in June. Plains Grains reports that Texas now has 18% of their hard red winter wheat harvested, while Oklahoma has gotten started with 3% of the crop now cut.
