The June 16th hard red winter wheat harvest report shows three states now with harvest underway. Using harvest completion stats from USDA or other agencies- Plains Grains says Texas is now at 42 percent complete- Oklahoma at 35% complete and Kansas just starting at 1% done. (Editor’s note- Mike Schulte with the Oklahoma Wheat Commission feels that we closer to 39% harvested in Oklahoma through today.)
The quality stats that Plains Grains is famous for may start becoming available next week- the first samples of the 2023 season have not arrived at the lab.
