About the OCA Ranch Rodeo – “Cowboys Helping Kids”
The OCA Ranch Rodeo features 12 historic Oklahoma ranch teams in head to head competition for bruises and bragging rights. The OCA event is comprised of six events depicting day-to-day ranching jobs.
Some call the event, “cowboys helping kids”, and for good reason since the selected charity has been the Children’s Miracle Network, Supporting Children’s Medical Research Institute for 25 years. We donated $32,000 in 2021 bringing our grand total to more than $585,500+ raised to help children. As an added bonus all funds raised in Oklahoma, stay right here in Oklahoma to help our own young people!
Donate to the Children’s Hospital Foundation!
Every year during the OCA Ranch Rodeo, boots are passed around to event spectators to help raise donations for the Children’s Hospital Foundation. People have grown to know and love the Pass The Boot event and this year we are bringing the opportunity to donate online. In 2021, just over $10,000 was raised during the Friday and Saturday event. LongRange Kids Dummy Roping
Kids can partake in a roping competition where they will rope a stationary steer until one final winner it announced.
Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each of the three age divisions.
• 6 yrs. and under
• 7 to 9 yrs.
• 10 – 12 yrs.Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Lazy E Arena
