NSP Takes Part in Pair of Farm Bill Roundtables

National Sorghum Producers Past Chair Kody Carson from Olton, Texas, CEO Tim Lust and Policy Analyst Sydney Lundberg attended farm bill roundtables in the Texas Panhandle this week, including an Amarillo event hosted by Congressman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) and Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX), both meeting with constituents in their districts during the August Recess. A farm bill listening session hosted by Arrington also took place in Lubbock, giving NSP the opportunity to meet with other agriculture leaders and discuss sorghum priorities for the next farm bill.

Earlier this year, National Sorghum Producers and other agricultural organizations sent a letter to Congress asking for legislation that assures growers have continued access to vital crop protection tools.
