Listen to Reagan Calk talk with Micaela Halverson about Oklahoma’s pumpkin patches and mazes.

As the fall season makes its way in, Associate Farm Editor, Reagan Calk, caught up with the Agritourism and Farmers Market Coordinator at the Oklahoma Department of Ag, Micaela Halverson, to talk about pumpkin patches and mazes across the state.

“At Oklahoma Agritourism, we are promoting all of the pumpkin patches and mazes in the state,” Halverson said.

This year, Halverson said there will be around 40 pumpkin patches and mazes open for visitors to check out.

“You can find all of our farms and ranches, but specifically pumpkin patches and mazes, at oklahomaagritourism.com, and you can search by region, you can search by different activity that you are looking for, and find all of their information in one place on our website,” Halverson said.

Halverson added that Oklahoma Agritourism is also active on social media on Facebook and Instagram.

“We like to repost each farm’s activities and things they are sharing on social media so that you can see pictures and the different activities, and where they are located in the state,” Halverson said.

Aside from pumpkin patches and mazes, Halverson said many of these locations also offer activities such as a petting farm, wagon rides, food stands, and more.
