Mullin Secures $55 Million in Grant Funding for Oklahoma Public School Resource Center

U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) announced that following his advocacy efforts, Oklahoma Public School Resource Center has been selected to receive $55 million in grant funding over the next five years through the U.S. Department of Education’s Charter School Program Grant to allow the continued growth of quality charter schools in Oklahoma.

“Offering high-quality education options for the next generation is the most significant action we can take for the future of our state,” said Sen. Mullin. “As the father of six wonderful children, I know firsthand the importance of ensuring our educators have the tools they need to best meet our children’s individualized needs. I’m confident Oklahoma Public School Resource Center will use this grant to support new and expanding institutions to meet the unique needs of Oklahoma students and their families. The next generation of Oklahomans is worth fighting for, and I’m proud to have played a part in securing this federal funding opportunity.”

Every year, the federal government makes federal grant funding available to individuals, nonprofit organizations, local governments, businesses, and other groups.
