It has been a magical year for all of the National FFA Officers that are wrapping up their year of service this week at the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis as they lead the General Convention sessions this week. That includes their leader- National FFA President Andrew Seibel from Virginia.
Seibel has roots in FFA- in fact his older sister was a national officer a few years back. But- his elevation to the top spot in the 2023 National Officer team was his achievement. He and the other officers have traveled all around the country- logging 100,000 miles as they have interacted with FFA members in settings big and small. Seibel and his team have also represented FFA in corporate board rooms as they have interacted with major sponsors of the nearly one hundred year old organization.
He tells Oklahoma Farm Report’s Ron Hays that he will tell FFA members in his farewell address this week “Remember who you are exactly as you were created is exactly is the only person you are ever going need to be- and if you lean into who you are as a person- you are going to be able to go very far in this life and enjoy the moment that you are in.”
