December Webinars to Discuss Research on Heifer Development

The Oklahoma State University Beef Extension program will host two Rancher’s Thursday Lunchtime Series sessions in December. Both hour-long webinars will focus on research updates now available on heifer development.

The Rancher’s Thursday Lunchtime Series features timely information on beef production, management and marketing from the OSU Extension beef cattle team, experienced ranchers and scientists. The following sessions are free and begin at noon.

Dec. 14 – Beef Heifer Development and Lifetime Productivity

  • Rick Funston, University of Nebraska

Dec. 21 – Heifer Development Strategies

  • Dan Stein, Oklahoma State University
