AEM Announces Advocacy and Industry Contribution Awards

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) announced the 2023 recipients of the annual AEM Advocacy Award, which recognizes member companies for their outstanding contributions to the association’s advocacy efforts.

AEM honored 37 member companies with Gold Awards for their contributions to the industry’s advocacy efforts. Komatsu North America was recognized with the prestigious Pillar of the Industry Award for being an exceptional champion for the equipment manufacturing industry and for winning a Gold Award five years in a row. In addition, 72 member companies earned Silver and Bronze Awards, including 48 first-time recipients.

“The equipment manufacturing industry had a very successful year in 2023, and many of our accomplishments would not have been possible without our member companies working with us to advance key policy issues,” said AEM President Megan Tanel“We are proud to recognize these companies for their commitment to educating lawmakers about our industry and advocating for common sense pro-manufacturing policies that will keep our industry strong.”

The AEM Advocacy Award recognizes member companies that help advance the industry’s policy priorities through a range of advocacy efforts, including active participation in AEM’s state and federal advocacy efforts, public affairs initiatives, and AEM’s award-winning national grassroots advocacy campaign, I Make America

“We are honored to recognize a record number of member companies for their extraordinary advocacy efforts on behalf of our association and the equipment manufacturing industry in the United States,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM senior vice president of government and industry relations. “It is thanks to the close partnership with this group of member companies that we continue to successfully advance policies that help our industry create jobs and grow the economy.”

AEM announced this year’s recipients of the AEM Advocacy Awards during the 2023 Annual Conference, held November 28-30 in Fort Lauderdale. Learn more about AEM at www.aem.org.
