Statement from the Oklahoma Angus Association in regards to the passing of visionary Angus breeder and Angus leader, Jarold Callahan.
It is with profound sadness that we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Jarold Callahan, former President and current Executive Director of the Oklahoma Angus Association.
Jarold’s support at every OAA event was something all members could count on. His innovative thinking and leadership will be deeply missed. The voids left in the Angus breed on the state, national, and global levels, will take the efforts of many people to fill. His passion and love for the Angus breed will continue to inspire us to continue the path of excellence he began.
During this time of grief, our thoughts and prayers are with Jarold’s family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. As we mourn the loss of a remarkable leader, his impact on the OAA will be a lasting legacy on the Angus business in this state.
