Successful ASF Fundraiser and Exhibition of SimGenetics at Cattlemen’s Congress

The third Ring of Champions Major PTP Show, Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma City, wrapped up last week. Luke Bowman, Director of SimGenetic Development, summarized the event saying, “Cattlemen’s Congress is always a premiere exhibition venue for SimGenetics producers and a great way to kick off the new year.

With more than 500 entries checked in covering all three days of pen & halter shows, Simmental-influenced cattle were highlighted as one of the largest breeds shown in Oklahoma City this year. Chance Ujazdowski, Mia Bayer, and I enjoyed visiting with producers throughout the event, and the American Simmental-Simbrah Foundation (ASF) fundraising was quite a feat. Hats off to Mia, ASF staff liaison, and all her Foundation board members who helped to raise so many dollars for the “Foundation Heifer” from Hart Simmentals, SD.

A sincere thank you to the Harts for their wonderful contribution and donation. It’s a great day to be part of the ASA!”
