Final Sale in March at OKC West Sharply Lower- Calves and Yearlings $5 to $10 Lower

With 5,743 head sold on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week- the OKC West market followed other recent markets in the region sharply lower. According to USDA Market News, compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded fully 5.00-10.00 lower. Demand light to moderate. Steer and heifer calves sold 5.00-10.00 lower. Demand moderate. The CME Live and Feeder Cattle contracts on the CME closed sharply lower early in the week causing buyers to be more cautious.
