Oklahoma Farm Report’s Ron Hays caught Ben Hale of Western Livestock Auctions on Tuesday morning- fresh from the first ten thousand head cattle run at the Oklahoma National Stockyards since the spring.
Hale tells Hays “It was a good sale yesterday” adding “these mid- upper six weight heifers are still selling extremely well at around low to upper $2.40 while the 680 weight steer getting up to $2.50 to $2.60…a strong market and these cattle are dollaring out extremely well.”
Hale also talked about some of the expected strings of cattle for Comanche and Woodward this week.
