Today, at the start of National Teacher Appreciation Week, Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) released the following statement:
“As a lover of learning, former college professor in history and politics, and father of a public-school teacher, it is not lost on me the influence a teacher can have on a student’s life. Teachers, principals, and educators alike care for America’s children, have a large impact on the way future generations think, and educate our nation’s future leaders,” said Congressman Cole. “During this National Teacher Appreciation Week, we honor and celebrate America’s teachers for all they do to educate, nurture, and inspire their students. They truly play such a pivotal role in our great nation, and, today, I would like to say to them – thank you.”
