There are some evenings that remind you exactly why you love this industry — and the ANCW
Cowgirl Cotillion was one of them.
Cattlemen and women from across the country gathered for an unforgettable night filled with
laughter, celebration, and a shared passion for promoting beef. Now in its second year, the
Cowgirl Cotillion has quickly become a favorite tradition — blending purpose and fun in true
cattlewomen style.
The energy in the room was undeniable as guests arrived, greeted friends from across state
lines, and prepared for a night that promised both entertainment and impact. The highlight of the
evening was a performance by nationally recognized comedian Chad Prather, whose quick wit
and relatable humor had the audience laughing from start to finish. His ability to connect with a
crowd rooted in agriculture made the evening feel both personal and unforgettable.
Of course, no Cotillion would be complete without a little friendly competition. The live and silent
auctions brought out enthusiastic bidders, all eager to support ANCW’s mission. From unique
items to special experiences, the generosity of sponsors and attendees was on full display.
Every bid placed directly supports ANCW’s work in beef education, promotion, and legislation —
the pillars that guide the organization’s efforts nationwide.
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening came as ANCW recognized its outstanding
award recipients. Connie Tabor of Oklahoma was honored as Outstanding Cattlewoman of the
Year for her leadership and commitment to strengthening the organization. Leanna Spratling of
Nevada was named Promoter of the Year for her dynamic efforts to champion beef and share
agriculture’s story. Laurie Munns of Utah received the Educator of the Year award in recognition
of her dedication to teaching and outreach that builds understanding and trust in the beef
industry.
Special guests, sponsors, and supporters, many returning for their second year, added to the
excitement and momentum surrounding the event. Their continued partnership reflects the
growing enthusiasm for the Cowgirl Cotillion and the work of ANCW. A special thank you to our
sponsors Elanco, Powder River, Zoetis, Cronus, and Animal Health International for your
continued support of the Cowgirl Cotillion and ANCW.
