
In the latest Crop Progress report from USDA, the U.S. Corn Crop is rated 67% Good to Excellent this week, equal to last week. Soybean crop conditions are 64% good to excellent this week down 1% from 65% last week.
The U.S. cotton crop is rated 46% good to excellent this week, down 2 points from 48% a week ago. For the US Grain Sorghum crop, the latest good-to-excellent ratings are 50%, down 2 points from last week’s 52%.
Winter Wheat harvest now stands at 59%, compared to 48% one week ago and 51% at this point last year.
Pasture and Range
In the southern plains, Oklahoma pasture and range conditions are now ranked 33% good to excellent, versus 31% last week and 70% a year ago. Poor to very poor ratings are now at 31%, versus 33% a week ago and 6% a year ago.
Kansas good to excellent conditions are ranked at 56% compared to 56% last week and 63% a year ago. Poor to very poor conditions are ranked 15% this week, 17% last week, and 10% a year ago.
Texas good to excellent conditions are ranked 40% this week, 44% last week and 60% a year ago. Poor to very poor conditions are ranked 27% this week, 26% a week ago, and 18% a year ago.
The 48 state national pasture and range conditions are now at 45% good to excellent versus 43% last week and 44% one year ago. Poor to very poor ratings nationally are at 27% this week versus 29% last week and 25% one year ago.
Corn Statistics
Oklahoma corn silking is at 38%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 19% poor to very poor, 19% fair, and 62% good to excellent.
Kansas corn silking is at 41%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 11% poor to very poor, 25% fair, and 64% good to excellent.
Texas corn silking is at 78%. Corn conditions rank as follows: 24% poor to very poor, 37% fair, and 39% good to excellent.
Soybean statistics:
Oklahoma soybeans blooming are at 15%. Oklahoma soybean conditions rank as follows: 30% poor to very poor, 39% fair, and 31% good to excellent.
Kansas soybeans blooming are at 26%. Kansas soybean conditions rank as follows: 8% poor to very poor, 25% fair, and 67% good to excellent.
Texas soybeans blooming are at 47%. Texas soybean conditions rank as follows: 9% poor to very poor, 35% fair, and 56% good to excellent.
Cotton statistics:
