With generosity stepping up to the plate, the Angus Foundation’s mission was strengthened during the 2026 National Junior Angus Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The annual silent auction raised over $20,000 in unrestricted support for education, youth and research, helping fund scholarships, conferences and research initiatives.
“The silent auction has become a meaningful tradition within the junior show,” said Jimmy Stickley, Angus Foundation donor coordinator. “Each year, we’re inspired by the generosity of the donors and buyers and all of it coming together to support the future of the Angus breed.”
The silent auction was open from July 13 – 17, with items available for viewing in person at NJAS and bidding available online via the auction platform Angus Live. The auction featured 159 lots, ranging from gift baskets of state-themed products to vintage Angus sale catalogs and show programs, jewelry and a 2012 NJAS Louisville Slugger Bat.
