
RiceTec, a global leader in rice seed technology, today announced the official opening of its new greenhouse facility in Alvin, Texas, marking a significant investment in the company’s ability to develop solutions that address the evolving needs of rice growers around the world.
The milestone was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by RiceTec employees, members of the RiceTec Board of Directors, and project team members who helped bring the facility from vision to reality.

The ceremony culminated with Princess Tatjana von und zu Liechtenstein officially cutting the ribbon. As a member of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein and Chair of the Liechtenstein Group, RiceTec’s long-term owner, her participation highlighted the organization’s enduring support for scientific advancement and agricultural progress. The occasion marked both the opening of a world-class facility and the continuation of a shared commitment to helping meet the growing global demand for rice.
