The lineup for the final event connected with the 2023 Oklahoma Youth Expo has been set- the Sale of Champions will feature 211 animals owned and shown by 4-H and FFA members from across Oklahoma. The four Grand Champions selected during the Grand Drive on Thursday evening will lead off the sale that starts at 4 PM on Friday afternoon in the Jim Norick Arena at the OKC Fairgrounds.
Those Grand Champions will start off the sale in the following order:
The Grand Champion Market Steer for 2023 is the Crossbred Steer Champ shown by Finley Yocham of Sapulpa 4-H- Her steer leads off the sale.
The Grand Champion Barrow for 2023 is the Hampshire Champion- shown by Brigham Bunt of the Ringwood 4-H club- Brigham’s barrow sells second.
The Grand Champion Market Lamb will sell third-it will be led into the ring by Connor Anthony of the Bethel FFA- Connor’s Hampshire Market Lamb was declared the best of show for 2023.
The fourth and final Grand Champion that will help lead off the Sale of Champions is the Market Goat- shown by Cara Cummins of the Hollis FFA.
