Choice Boxed Beef Jumps $2.08 to $369.33 on Friday
Boxed beef values moved higher on Friday, with Choice closing at $369.33, up $2.08 from Thursday, and Select ending at $364.53, up $4.16 on the day. Compared with last Friday, boxed beef values were $3.77 higher. The Choice/Select spread narrowed to $4.80, down from $6.88 on Thursday, while load count declined to 60 from 115. …

Boxed beef values were lower for the second straight day on Thursday. Choice closed at $367.25, down $0.77 from Wednesday, while Select finished at $360.37, down $1.72 day over day.
