Woodward Livestock Sees Higher Stocker and Yearling Prices Thursday

At the Woodward Livestock market on April 9th, a total of 1,430 head were sold. Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers 8.00 to 12.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves 10.00 to 20.00 higher with most of the light calves being unweaned. Demand was moderate.

Choice Beef Finishes Thursday Up $1.43 to $381.09

Choice boxed beef closed Thursday at $381.09, up $1.43 from Wednesday, while Select was $381.57, down $0.70, narrowing the spread to -0.48.
