Senate Pro Tem Greg Treat, R-Oklahoma City, today released the following statement on the passing of Tom Love, who founded the family owned and operated network of Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores.
“The city of Oklahoma City and state of Oklahoma would look drastically different without the philanthropy and generosity of Tom Love and his family,” said Sen. Treat. “He and his wife, Judy, worked tirelessly throughout their careers and marriage to grow their family-owned business, while never hesitating to give back to the community and causes they believed in. Tom will be missed tremendously but deserves to be celebrated for all his accomplishments and service to others. My wife Maressa and I offer our prayers to Judy, their children, grandchildren and all who loved him.”
