Production of beef cattle is the largest industry.

What’s new with your association? 
We are excited to host the 2024 National Junior Limousin Show & Congress!

What are some upcoming events your association has or are looking forward to attending? 
We hold our annual Ronn Wayland Memorial Field Day Show in conjunction with the OCA Spotlight Classic Show in Stillwater on the first weekend in June. We also will hold the OLBA Annual Banquet and Benefit Auction on Friday evening June 2, 2023.

What is the biggest opportunity that breeders should be taking advantage of with your association?
Networking with other breeders and advertising their own operation in our bi-monthly ads in the Oklahoma Cowman Magazine.

What are your goals as an organization? 
The goals of the organization are to promote the breed and to encourage the next generation to raise Limousin. 

Final thoughts: 
Oklahoma, along with our neighbors to the south, was the first to form state associations back in May 1971. The OLBA held the first Limousin Show & Sale in the United States on November 30, 1971.
