BASF donates $20,000 to help with disaster relief efforts in Mississippi

BASF has donated $20,000 to Feeding America to help those in need following a series of tornadoes that recently devastated communities across the state of Mississippi. In addition, the company is matching employee donations to disaster relief organizations contributing to the recovery of the impacted communities.

“Our hearts go out to the individuals who lost so much due to these tragic storms,” said Paul Rea, Senior Vice President, BASF Agricultural Solutions North America. “To support those working on the ground to bring relief to those directly impacted, we’re donating $20,000 to Feeding America to assist the Mississippi communities hardest hit by these storms.”

“We want to do our part to help ensure those who are struggling the most receive the support and resources they need,” said Scott Kay, Vice President, U.S. Agricultural Solutions, BASF Agricultural Solutions. “During these difficult times, it’s important to support groups like Feeding America who are working tirelessly to bring relief to people when they need it most, and we hope our donations inspire others to join us.”

“We thank BASF for supporting Feeding America during this time of increased need due our network’s response to the 2023 Mississippi Storms. With the support of partners like BASF, we are able to mobilize in communities across the country to respond to this natural disaster,” said Marissa Warren, Manager, Feeding America Corporate Partnerships.
