The Leaders Engaged in Angus Development (LEAD) conference is eagerly-awaited by Angus youth across the nation each year. The Angus Foundation proudly supports this annual event, which provides an educational opportunity for National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) members to gain leadership skills and form valuable relationships. In addition to supporting the event through the Angus Fund’s unrestricted dollars, each year the Foundation’s variety of LEAD awards help cover registration costs for numerous conference attendees.

“The LEAD conference is one of the highlights of the year for many NJAA members,” said Jaclyn Boester, Angus Foundation executive director. “It’s an experience we hope to engage as many Angus youth in as possible, and the LEAD award opportunities help make it accessible for even more junior members.”

A variety of LEAD award opportunities are available to NJAA members, including some specific to a state or region. To learn more about LEAD awards available and how to apply, visit www.angus.org/Foundation/WhatWeDo/Awards. Below is a complete list of LEAD award opportunities.
