Vive Crop Protection Hires First Chief of Staff

Megan Wheeler has joined Vive Crop Protection as Chief of Staff. A member of the executive team, she will partner closely with CEO Dr. Darren Anderson on key initiatives such as M&A, fundraising, and effective scaling.

“As someone who cares about working with good people, at a good company, doing good work, and making an impact, Vive presents the ideal opportunity,” says Wheeler. “Being able to join a rapidly growing company in the burgeoning agtech space was something I couldn’t say no to.”

The Chief of Staff role is new to Vive, although this is Wheeler’s third time in the role. She has over 17 years of marketing and operational experience in tech across multiple disciplines, including real estate, pharmaceutical, custom software development, finance, and digital accessibility.

“Having worked with Megan in a previous capacity, I was very excited to bring her onboard to help us scale Vive,” says Darren Anderson. “Agtech has a lot of opportunity for growth, and building up our bench strength with key hires like Megan will accelerate our journey to becoming the first billion-dollar agriculture startup in Canada.”
