USDA NASS Releases More 2022 Census of Agriculture Products

On March 27th, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) released the 2022 Census of Agriculture State and County profiles and the State Market Value of Agriculture Products rankings.

“The State and County profiles and State Market Values rankings give a very viewable look into the 2022 Census of Agriculture at the State and County level,” said NASS Oklahoma State Statistician Troy Marshall. “The county profiles are very useful to data users trying to understand the importance of agriculture to a local county area.”

These updated profiles and rankings will be the from the 2022 Census of Agriculture and can be used
to compare back to older iterations of the same release to show agricultural trends at a more local
level.

“The county profiles allow data users to see a counties rank, based on economic sales, within the
state and within all counties within the United States,” Marshall said.


The 2022 Census of Agriculture State and County profiles and the State Market Value of Agriculture
Products rankings are more products from the 2022 Census of Agriculture series. On May 15, 2024,
NASS will be releasing the 2022 Census of Agriculture Congressional District Profiles and Rankings. On June 28, 2024, the Race, Ethnicity, and Gender Profiles are scheduled to be released.
