
On Thursday, Sept. 5, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael S. Regan will join Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland for an embargoed press briefing announcing the recipients of $300 million from EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grants competition for Tribes, Tribal consortia, and territories. Funded by the Biden-Harris Administration’s Investing in America agenda, selected Tribal governments and territories will receive federal resources to implement community-driven solutions that address climate change, reduce air pollution, advance environmental justice, and accelerate America’s clean energy transition.
President Biden’s Investing in America agenda is deploying record investments to provide affordable high-speed internet, safer roads and bridges, modern wastewater and sanitations systems, clean drinking water, reliable and affordable electricity, and good paying jobs in every Tribal community.
