The Latest Crop Progress Report Shows Oklahoma Wheat Finally Caught Up

US Crop Progress Report:

Winter Wheat Planted reached 97 percent, equal to the previous year, but down 1 percentage point from the average. Winter Wheat Emerged reached 89 percent, down 1 point from a year ago but equal to the five-year average. Winter wheat conditions rated 55 percent good to excellent, 33 percent fair, and 12 percent poor to very poor. Last week’s conditions rated 49 percent good to excellent, 36 percent fair, and 15 percent poor to very poor.

The National Corn harvest is complete.

The National Soybean harvest is complete.

Cotton harvested reached 84 percent, up 3 points from a year ago and 4 points from the average.

The National Sorghum harvest is complete.

Oklahoma Crop Progress Report:

Winter wheat planted reached 95 percent, equal to the previous year and down 2 points from the five-year average. Winter wheat emerged reached 80 percent, down 13 points from the previous year and the average. Winter wheat conditions rated 48 percent good to excellent, 36 percent fair, and 16 percent poor to very poor. Last week’s conditions rated 37 percent good to excellent, 25 percent fair, and 18 percent poor to very poor.

The Oklahoma Corn harvest is complete.

Sorghum harvested reached 93 percent, down 2 points from a year ago and the average.

Soybeans harvested reached 76 percent, down 4 points from a year ago and the average.

Cotton harvested reached 65 percent, down 16 percentage points from a year ago and 12 from the average.

Livestock conditions rated 57 percent good to excellent, 30 percent fair, and 13 percent poor to very poor. Last week’s conditions rated 57 percent good to excellent, 29 percent fair, and 14 percent poor to very poor.

Pasture and range conditions rated 21 percent good to excellent, 33 percent fair, and 46 percent poor to very poor. Last week’s conditions rated 12 percent good to excellent, 34 percent fair, and 54 percent poor to very poor.

Kansas Winter wheat planting is complete. Winter wheat emerged was 96 percent, up 4 points from last year and 6 points from the average. Winter wheat conditions rated 55 percent good to excellent, 33 percent fair, and 12 percent poor to very poor. Last week’s conditions rated 49 percent good to excellent, 39 percent fair, and 11 percent poor to very poor

Winter wheat emerged reached 77 percent, up 1 point from a year ago and equal to the average. Winter wheat conditions rated 52 percent good to excellent, 30 percent fair, and 18 percent poor to very poor. Last week’s conditions rated 47 percent good to excellent, 31 percent fair, and 22 percent poor to very poor.
