31st Annual Tulsa Farm Show Set to Start This Thursday

Ron Hays talks with Scott Guttormson about the 2024 Tulsa Farm Show

The 31st Annual Tulsa Farm Show is set to take place from December 12-14, 2024, at the SageNet Center at Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This premier agricultural event will bring together farmers and ranchers from across the region to explore the latest in agricultural technology, ranching equipment, and services. With over 300 exhibitors, including event sponsor Oklahoma Farm Bureau, the Tulsa Farm Show is one of the nation’s largest agricultural exhibitions held under one roof.

Ahead of the show- Oklahoma Farm Report’s Ron Hays talked with Show Manager Scott Guttormson who is on location as equipment is starting to arrive and be set up for the three day show. Listen to Ron and Scott by clicking on the listen bar above.

Scott Guttormson, Show Manager, says “We are thrilled to celebrate the 31st Annual Tulsa Farm Show this year! This event provides an excellent opportunity for farmers, ranchers, and exhibitors to come together and showcase the newest innovations in agriculture. We are proud to have the continued support of Oklahoma Farm Bureau as our official sponsor.”

Scott tells us that one last minute change is that the horsemanship sessions each day will feature Craig Cameron’s son Cole here in 2024. Cole is a rising star in the horse training circles and is stepping in for his dad who has some health challenges and can’t make Tulsa this year. This will be the 30th year that a Cameron will be teach horsemanship at the Tulsa Farm Show.

Farmers and ranchers from Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas regularly attend the Tulsa Farm Show, making it an essential end-of-year event. Admission and parking are free for all attendees. The SageNet Center, a key venue at Expo Square, boasts over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space and is one of the largest clear-span buildings in the world, making it an ideal setting for showcasing large equipment and exhibits.

Featured Events at the Show
In addition to a wide variety of exhibits, the Tulsa Farm Show will host several exciting events and attractions. One of the highlights is Craig Cameron’s son, Cole, will present daily horsemanship seminars and engage with attendees throughout the show. Cameron’s interactive demonstrations have been a popular feature of the show for 29 years.

Country singer, Rusty Rierson, will also be performing daily acoustic music sets during the show. For cattle producers, livestock management will be a central focus of the event. Attendees can watch live demonstrations of ten different brands of cattle chutes, moderated by experienced livestock industry professionals. These demonstrations will take place twice daily in the southwest corner of the SageNet Center, near the Behlen Country exhibit.
