Oklahoma Winter Wheat Harvest Virtually Complete at 98% in Latest Crop Progress

 The US Winter Wheat Harvest is 73% complete as of July 20, 2025, versus 63% completed a week ago and versus the 72% five-year average.

Spring crop conditions nationally show the US Corn crop has remained the same for 3 weeks now at 74% good to excellent.

The US Soybean crop is at 68% good to excellent, down 2 points from a week ago at 70%.

Cotton crop conditions are at 57% good to excellent, up 3 points from last week at 54%.

Grain Sorghum is down one point in the good to excellent category at 68% versus 69% a week ago.

Finally- the US Pasture and Range Conditions are at 43% good to excellent this week, which has dropped 3 points from last week at 46%.

In the southern plains- the 2025 Oklahoma winter wheat crop harvest is 98% complete as of yesterday, compared to 100% harvested a year ago. This week is up 4 points from a week ago at 94%.

Kansas wheat producers are 97% harvested this week, versus 93% complete last week. Down 2 points from a year ago at 99% completed.

Texas winter wheat harvest jumped 7 points to 97% harvested this week versus last week at 90% harvested, compared to 100% a year ago.

As for our Summer crops in Oklahoma:

Corn crop conditions are now at 70% good to excellent this week vs 71% a week ago.

The Oklahoma soybean crop is at 54% good to excellent versus 65% a week ago.

Cotton in Oklahoma remains the same as last week at 62% good to excellent.

Grain Sorghum also remains the same as last week at 80% good to excellent.

Pasture and Range conditions are at 69% good to excellent this week versus 63% a week ago.

Checking Summer crops and Pastures in Kansas:

Corn crop conditions are rated 64% good to excellent this week versus 69% a week ago.

Soybean conditions are also rated 64% good to excellent this week, compared to 69% a week ago.

Cotton conditions in Kansas are rated 50% good to excellent this week versus 44% a week ago.

Grain Sorghum crop ratings are at 65 % good to excellent this weekup one point from a week ago at 64%

And Pasture and Range ratings are 57% good to excellent this week-they were 69% good to excellent one week ago.

Checking Summer Crops and Pastures in Texas:

Corn crop conditions are rated 70% good to excellent this week, the same as last week.

Cotton conditions in Texas are rated 52% good to excellent this week versus 46% a week ago.

Grain Sorghum crop ratings are 67% good to excellent this week versus 71% a week ago,

And Pasture and Range ratings are at 58% good to excellent, which is down 2 points from the 60% of the last two weeks.
