Boxed Beef Continues Rally- Choice Beef Up $4.92 to $374.86 on Wednesday, August 6th

Boxed beef prices continued higher on Wednesday, with the Choice cutout gaining $4.92 to reach $374.86, marking the fourth straight daily increase and a $13.54 rise over that span. Select also advanced, up $5.42 to $351.36, while the Choice-Select spread narrowed slightly to $23.50, down from $24.00 on Tuesday. Total loads reported were 83, compared to 105 the previous day.

Among the primals, all major components showed gains except for Plate and Flank. The Rib rose to $551.08 (+$6.42), Chuck climbed to $315.44 (+$5.10), and Round moved up $5.22 to $327.39. Loin gained $7.05 to $483.99, while Brisket increased $3.88 to $316.51. Plate declined slightly to $272.69 (−$2.29), and Flank edged down $0.42 to $227.02.
