Stillwater FFA Wins Premiere Chapter- Strengthening Agriculture Title

Stillwater FFA Named Premiere Chapter at 2025 National FFA Convention
Stillwater FFA Wins Premiere Chapter: Strengthening Agriculture

Stillwater FFA was named the 2025 Premier Chapter: Strengthening Agriculture during the sixth general session of the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo this year in Indianapolis.

Stillwater FFA of Oklahoma created an activity that included comedy as well as serious safety lessons with the chapter’s “Don’t Be a Griswold: Safety Skits.” The activity’s purpose was to encourage members to make safe decisions with winter-related agriculture activities. The activity took place through safety skits conducted by members to educate their peers about electrical, livestock, temperature, water, and other winter hazards, and concluded with a safety pledge.

The National Chapter Award program recognizes outstanding FFA chapters that actively implement the organization’s mission and strategies. These chapters improve operations using the National Quality FFA Chapter Standards and a Program of Activities that emphasizes growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.

National FFA recognizes the top chapters with innovative activities in three divisions: growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters that receive three-star ratings during judging are eligible to compete for the premier chapter awards. Ten FFA chapters competed for the honor.

The Chapter offered this salute to the efforts by chapter members leading to this national recognition: Of the 9,407 FFA Chapters in the United States, only one chapter earns this prestigius award and we are the 2025 National Winner! This marks the second time our program has ever won a Premier Chapter Award. Credit for this award goes to so many Stillwater FFA members who have worked on this activity. We want to recognize Ainslie McEndoo and Tassi Jo Fadely for their countless hours of hard work in practicing and competing as the chapter representatives in this award area. Their strong presentation and interview helped to bring the award home to Stillwater. In addition, we want to thank Eliana Timmons for leading the activity that led to this Premier Chapter Award.
