According to the Texas Cattle Feeders Association, cash cattle trade was lower again this week- with fed steers and heifers both trading at $232 per hundred in the TCFA area of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Steers were off $3.62 from the sales of a week ago while heifers were down $3.75.
Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures were sharply lower from the Monday close to the Friday settlements- December Live Cattle contracts lost $10.85 for the week, while November Feeder Cattle dropped $16.18 per hundred.
