
The first Cattlemen’s Congress Junior Speech contest attracted entries from 13 states and the youth competed in five categories in three age divisions. The categories included Salesmanship, General Ag, Ag Policy, Animal Science and an Extemporaneous category just for the senior division. The top winners took home plagues shaped like steers and a gift card for the Cattlemen’s Congress merchandise.
