
After ten days of showing some of the finest cattle with the very best genetics to be found in the US Beef Cattle Herd- the 2026 set of Supreme Champions were selected on Tuesday evening at the Sixth Cattlemen’s Congress. That included the Supreme Junior Female, Supreme Open Female and Supreme Open Bull as the best of more than twenty breed champions in each category was selected by a pair of judges in each drive. The champions in both female Supreme drives came from ten states while the Bull Supreme Drive featured Champion Bulls from nine different states.
Opening up the evening in the brand new OG&E Coliseum at the OKC Fairgrounds, twenty five Junior Female Champions were led into the arena- a top five was named by the judges- with the Supreme Junior Female- 44597535- was the Horned Hereford Champion owned and shown by Ty Pezanoski of Peru, Illinois. Reserve Supreme Heifer was the Champion Maintainer- BBR Majestic 655M ET- owned and shown by Hadley Dunklau of Wayne, Nebraska. The Third place Junior Heifer in the Supreme drive was the Angus Junior Champion Heifer shown by Tucker Bayer of Ringle, Nebraska; the Fourth Place Junior was the Maine ANgus shown by Tripp Yocham of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and the Fifth position was the Red Angus Junior Heifer Champion shown by Shaylee Hartman of Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Next were the top breed champions in the Open Female (Heifer) division. The judges chose a top three in the open Supreme drive- picking the SImmental Open Heifer Champion as the Supreme Open Female for the 2026 Cattlemen’s Congress. JSUL Rosie 4288M was shown and owned by Chloe Clark of Muldrow, Oklahoma. The Reserve Supreme Open Heifers was the Angus Heifer Champion– CM WB Princess 419- was shown by Joe Horstman of West Lafayette, Indiana and the third in the Open Female Supreme drive was the Chianina Champion- shown by Bret Pembrook with Pembrook Cattle Company of Fairview, Oklahoma.
Finally, the Supreme Open Bull lineup had seventeen Breed Champions that were brought into the OG&E Coliseum- and an Oklahoma breeder came away with the honor of Supreme Open Bull Champion for 2026- Buck Cattle Company of Madill, Oklahoma along with Hoffman Ranch of Thedford, Nebraska. The champion Hereford- STELLPFLUG ALL THAT ET- was the Horned Hereford Champion earlier in the show.
The Reserve Supreme Bull was the Shorthorn Champion- and was exhibited by Gypsy Creek Ranch and Cates Farm of Modoc, Indiana. Third Bull in the Supreme Drive was the Percentage SImmental Champion shown by Kylie Callis of Minco, Oklahoma.
