Oklahoma City Farm Show 2026 Kicks Off Thursday with 250+ Exhibitors

Agricultural producers from across the region are preparing to gather in Oklahoma City as the 2026 Oklahoma City Farm Show gets underway, bringing together equipment, services, and educational opportunities under one roof. John Riles with Midwest Farm Shows spoke with senior farm and ranch broadcaster Ron Hays, and Riles says the long-running event continues to evolve, noting, “This is the 22nd annual. I personally have been doing it for about the last 12 years, and we’re really excited to be here.” This year also marks a notable shift in timing, as organizers move the show from its traditional April window into March in hopes of better attendance and consistency.

Riles explained the date change is designed with farmers in mind, saying, “We’re kind of moved into March now, we feel that we’re less likely to have farmers in the field and then some more consistency in the dates going forward.” After several days of setup, the show is ready to open its doors, with Riles adding, “we’re kicking off Thursday morning, bright and early, at nine o’clock.” Organizers expect a strong turnout as producers take advantage of the earlier schedule and improved accessibility.

The event continues to feature many crowd-favorite traditions alongside educational opportunities. Riles highlighted, “every morning, we kick off with free coffee and rolls we always give away $1,000 in show bucks each day at one o’clock,” and noted the continued partnership with OSU Extension for seminars covering topics like beginning farming and beekeeping. With “well over 250 exhibitors,” attendees can explore everything from equipment to services, making it a one-stop destination for both crop producers and cattle operations.

Riles emphasized the show’s broad appeal and accessibility, noting the mix of attendees and the value it offers producers. “We get a lot of wheat farmers and crop farmers coming in for the show, we got a little bit of everything for the farmer and rancher,” he said. With free admission and parking, the event remains easy to attend, while also serving as a hub for innovation. Riles added that advancing technology is a major draw, explaining, “you’re really seeing this blend of technology these days, where people, they can with AI, and those sorts of things, they can really talk to you confidently about how they can reduce your fuel costs, for instance- this is a great place to talk to people face to face and learn.”
