Oklahoma FFA Convention 2026: State President Cooper Kline Reflects on 100th Milestone

The Oklahoma FFA Convention 2026 is quickly approaching, and according to State President Cooper Kline, this year’s event carries a historic weight as members prepare to celebrate the organization’s 100th convention. As the countdown continues, Kline says the moment is finally starting to feel real for him and his officer team.

“It’s kind of a surreal feeling knowing that it’s finally here,” Kline said. “We’ve spent the entire year as a team preparing for this moment… and I think it’s finally settling in within our group that it’s happening.” He added that the milestone event is not only about honoring the past but also setting expectations for the future: “We’re having the 100th Oklahoma FFA state convention, and hopefully setting the standard for maybe the next 100 years within this organization.”

Building a Historic Convention Experience

Kline says the officer team has been focused on creating an unforgettable experience for members across the state. Among the highlights is an expanded entertainment lineup and new features designed to celebrate FFA history.

“Our concert this year, we are actually having two performers there this year, which has been kind of a little bit of a buzz,” he explained. “The concert is going to be great.”

Beyond entertainment, Kline emphasized efforts to connect members with the organization’s legacy. “We have some new things in the works—the Hall of Chapters that we’re going to have some historic memorabilia from FFA chapters all across the state,” he said. “I think it’s going to be a really cool aspect.” He hinted that even more surprises are planned: “There’s going to be a couple new, surprising things that you may see on stage… but there’s some big things in the works.”

A Year of Growth Through FFA

As his term as state president nears its conclusion, Kline reflected on the personal impact FFA has had on his life and leadership development.

“It’s been everything I’ve dreamed of and more,” he said. “Being that eighth grader having those first aspirations… and now that I’ve gotten the opportunity… it’s been truly remarkable.”

Kline credits the organization with shaping who he is today. “Truthfully, FFA has made me the person I am today,” he said. “Without FFA, I wouldn’t feel comfortable speaking in front of crowds… it’s helped me find my voice. It’s helped me establish what I want to do in the future.”

Memorable Moments Along the Way

Looking back on the year, Kline highlighted a few standout experiences, including returning to a meaningful location in his FFA journey.

“The homecoming to Tulakogee—that’s something that my first alumni camp was there,” he said. “Getting the opportunity to come back and facilitate as a state officer… it was simply incredible.”

He also pointed to time spent building relationships with his fellow officers. “My team and I went out to Arizona and had a nice team trip,” Kline said. “That was a really fun memory, and something that I’m going to hold for an extremely long time.”

Industry Support Drives Success

Kline emphasized that the success of the Oklahoma FFA Convention and the organization as a whole would not be possible without strong industry backing.

“The support that we have in the state is so, so incredible,” he said. “That’s why our organization is so successful—we have those people willing to give back to the youth, willing to give back to that next generation.”

He noted that those partnerships help prepare students for future careers. “Eventually, these students are going to go on and become those employees, those future leaders within the workforce,” Kline said.

Looking Ahead to Convention and Beyond

As the convention draws closer, Kline is especially focused on one final responsibility—his retiring address.

“I’ve got a retiring address coming up that I’m pretty excited about,” he said. “I’ve been working really hard on that, trying to make it the best that I absolutely can.”

At the same time, he’s looking forward to watching the next group of leaders take the stage. “Getting to see those bright, smiling faces start that new chapter—truly incredible,” Kline said.

After his year of service, Kline plans to continue pursuing a career in agricultural education. “I’m 100% in,” he said. “That’s something that I love… and I hope to do it until the day I die.”

As the 100th Oklahoma FFA Convention approaches, Kline’s message reflects both pride in the organization’s legacy and excitement for the future it continues to build through agricultural education and leadership development.
